Service Canada selected Kyosei to provide a high-level leadership workshop in conjunction with Service Canada’s streamlining initiatives. The scale of change would require employees at all levels to “get comfortable with chaos” for several years as the organization’s transitions rolled out. This included fundamental changes to technology, as well as sweeping changes to operational units, moving personnel from city to city, and so forth. With such changes being highly disruptive, the workshop was seen as critical to keep morale high and all eyes clearly on target.

To meet these challenges, Kyosei developed a custom workshop in record time, entitled: “Thriving on Change: Leading in Turbulent Times.” This training provided a new, positive, passions-based perspective on managing change for optimal effect. The Service Canada leadership appreciated the practical refocusing and the emphasis on self-care as a necessary skill to keep morale high during the period of operational streamlining.
