Combining research on high performance cultures, employee engagement, peak performance, and business excellence, this training program provides leaders with a unique approach to performance management that creates a foundation for ongoing gains for both the business and the employees. It strengthens employees’ ability to optimize their own career development, well-being and engagement, and provides leaders and managers at all levels with an in-depth understanding of how to grow and sustain performance, energy and engagement in themselves and their team over time, all of which link to improved business outcomes. The training is structured with application exercises in between each session so that participants have an opportunity to immediately apply what they are learning in the workplace to improve performance and business results.

Instructional Objectives:

This training program provides participants with a thorough understanding of the foundations of employee performance, engagement, motivation and well-being as well as how these link to business performance. The following topics will be covered:

  • The latest research on the links between business performance and employee motivation, well-being and engagement;
  • How career development needs drive motivation for performance enhancement;
  • The four foundations that drive employee performance, motivation, energy and engagement;
  • The core needs that block employee motivation and derail performance improvement efforts;
  • The Life-Work IntegrityTM(TM) Model as a framework for developing employee performance;
  • The Kyosei Thrive Model as a framework for developing business performance and results;
  • How to apply the research and frameworks studied to improve their own engagement, motivation, performance, energy and well-being as a leader; and
  • How to apply the research and frameworks studied to improve the engagement, motivation, performance, energy and well-being of their team members.

Measurable Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the program participants will:

  • Understand a concrete framework for growing and sustaining peak personal and business performance;
  • Have tools to assess and address gaps in their own energy, motivation, well-being and engagement that undermine peak performance;
  • Have the skills, knowledge and tools to  assess and address gaps in the energy, motivation, well-being and engagement of their employees;
  • Have practiced applying their learning in a number of different scenarios both with themself and their team; and
  • Have greater confidence in their ability to coach their employees to continuously grow their performance and contribution at work.
